A historic palazzo in the heart of San Marco

A stone façade, Gothic mullioned windows and soaring ceilings. Seven rooms and an apartment in a 19th-century building, five minutes from the Accademia Gallery.

THE ARCHITECTURE

Details they don't build anymore

The stone doorway of the palazzo with its mullioned windows

The façade

Dressed stone on the ground floor, Gothic-style mouldings and arches: a 19th-century palazzo you can recognise from down the street.

The Gothic windows

The original double-arched windows frame the morning light. We've kept them just as they are, with their wooden frames.

Room with a very high ceiling and pendant lights

Soaring ceilings

High-ceilinged spaces, built the way they used to be, that give every room room to breathe, even the cosiest ones.

BOUTIQUE HOSPITALITY

A few rooms, each one cared for

Inside the palazzo we chose a simple, warm style: petrol-blue wood panelling, brass details, fine fabrics and a Chesterfield lounge. Seven rooms and an apartment, no more: the right size to look after every guest properly.
